My organization addresses all communal need in the neighborhood of Neve Yacov in Yerushalayim. We help Ethiopian and Russian Immigrants, arrrange projects for poor and/or old people. We facilitate educational programs for all ages in the neighborhood. We provide support for single parent families and sponsor youth activities for underprivelleged youth in the area. We have a melting pot of different people and ethnicities including Ethiopian immigrants, immigrants from the former Soviet Union, and new Olim from America. We are a non-demoninational organization giving services to peole of all religious backgrounds, including ultra and modern orthodox, traditional and non-affiliated people.
What do you plan to do for JSAM 2008?
I have a number of fabulous projects that I am working on to benefit the people of the neighborhood, including, a night of learning and fun for older persons, and projects geared towards benefit acquisition as well as fixing broken plumbing in buildings.
How did you hear about JSAM?
