Senior Citizens and the Environment
During the month of Cheshvan I have focused my volunteering around helping support senior citizens in the Houston area and the environment. I have already been to a Jewish retirement community to help them celebrate Shabbat and helped serve food during their Friday meal. I also have worked at the Houston Arboretum to educate children about the local environment and get them interested in recycling and conservation. I plan on going back to the Arboretum at least once this month to help with trail… Continue
