JCRC Outerwear Drive: Approximately 300 coats and jackets, plus additional outerwear (hats, scarves, gloves and mittens) were collected throughout the Jewish community and donated to the International Institute, an organization that serves new immigrants in the St. Louis area; the first photo is of Leslie Bursack, Chair of the 2008 Outerwear Drive, with two refugees from Bhutan served by the International Institute
Additionally, about another 40 coats and other outerwear were distributed to children and families of Bernard Long Elementary School in Madison, IL. The second photo shows Ebony and Amber Stallings as they pick up the coats and other items collected.
